A hotel running a larger set for main load and a smaller set for lighter periods. Because the two sets straddle the 100 kVA threshold, each was given its own substitution target — 70/30 on the C110D5 and a more conservative 50/50 on the C44D5 — rather than quoting one optimistic figure across both. A single shared cascade and cart serves the pair, which avoided the cost of duplicating the gas storage.

A heavily used 200 kVA set where the client initially considered converting two generators and, after reviewing the analysis, chose to proceed with the larger unit first. The cascade was specified at eight cylinders to give a longer run between refill trips, on a cart built so more cylinders can be added if the second set is converted later.

Two sets of quite different sizes on one site. The 60 kVA Marapco falls below the 100 kVA threshold and was therefore targeted at a 50/50 substitution average, while the 100 kVA set was targeted at 70/30. The cascade was sized at five cylinders and built with headroom so additional cylinders can be added as the site's demand grows.

A nearly new set — 2024 year of manufacture — which meant the manufacturer warranty was the first thing to address. Proforma invoice
An itemised quotation — kit and installation per generating set, cylinders by quantity, and the cascade and cart — with 7.5% VAT shown separately and payment terms stated.
Cascade & cart proposal
Where a mobile cascade forms part of the scope, a separate proposal explains the system, the refuelling routine, and the specifications, so your operators know what they are taking on.
